Hope & Will Have a Baby: The Gift of Egg Donation by Irene Celcer is another book aimed at questions from children who were conceived by non-conventional means. This book in particular is designed for parents to share the beginnings of their child’s life with their child conceived by the gift of egg donation. There are also three other books in this series tackling the topics of conception via sperm donation, conception via embryo donation and birth via surrogacy. This book in particular tells the story of “Matthew’s” conception and birth via egg donation from sperm meets egg to birth. This book is not for parents who don’t want to get in to scientific details of the birds and the bees; however, it is a very useful book in explaining the non-conventional means of conception.
